Danielle Wyman graduated in 2025 from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, MA. Danielle was born and raised in Maine, which will always hold a special place in her heart, but she is very happy to spend the next two years in sunny Los Angeles focusing on the civil rights work that initially drove her to practice law.
After acquiring her B.A. from Syracuse University (go Orange!), Danielle spent twelve years working in a variety of roles, six of them as a travel agent. After some serious reflection on how she wanted to show up in the world and use her privilege to effect change, Danielle realized that law would be the most impactful way to use her personal strengths to this end.
While at Northeastern, Danielle took part in the Prisoners’ Rights Clinic, working with and representing a man serving a life sentence in front of the Massachusetts parole board. She also engaged in pro bono work with the Public Defender Service for DC, analyzing compassionate release decisions in order to more effectively write petitions for future clients seeking compassionate release. Danielle‘s internships involved representing incarcerated people in civil rights litigation, once at a nonprofit in New Orleans and once with the federal government. She also worked with individuals on Alabama’s death row throughout their federal habeas processes.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find Danielle with her nose in a book. But if she’s feeling social, she may be at an outdoor movie or one of many local trivia nights.
