Tracy is a native Angeleno whose career began in the field of immigration and has since evolved to include project and operational support to organizations pursuing criminal justice reform. As Operations Manager, Tracy oversees the operational functions and processes that support SJLF’s work, including project management, information technology, compliance and risk management, bookkeeping, human resources, and facilities operations. Tracy works closely with the Executive Director to support SJLF’s organizational strategy and development and manage vendors and partners.
Before joining SJLF, Tracy dedicated six years to the Indigent Defense Programs at the Los Angeles County Bar Association. As the organization’s second hire and its Program Manager, Tracy played a critical role in developing and supporting the juvenile program, which was recognized by the American Bar Association as one of three “Exemplary Defense Programs” in the country. Her commitment to supporting quality legal representation in Los Angeles County ultimately led her to the Social Justice Legal Foundation, where she applies that same social-justice orientation and management experience to the unique needs of an impact litigation nonprofit and its clients.
Outside of work, Tracy enjoys reading, traveling, and discovering new coffee shops.
